Keep hard working!!!

Two weeks have pasted, we worked hard day and night, try our best to make sure we can send all the bakers’ rewards kits can in time on May. Let’s see what we have done till now and what’s the next step.

Got all the mechanical parts, both the Acrylic and wood, from the factory, too heavy to carry.

Make sure the holes can be more suitable for the bearings and do a post processing after laser cutting.

Now we finish all of them and they are waiting for next packing step.

About the complete assembled kits, we have finished most of them. Waiting for the servos now.

    Great work, but very messy production line :) You need to start developing a standard work procedure for different tasks, eventually you’ll have to hire assembly workers and build workstations for production.

    Can you release the document of uArm APIs (especially on setPosition(a,b,c,d) function) and machine specs like rotation speed, grasp force and such?

    Hi, just found this site after watching the vid on youtube, looks like a neat little robot that may get me started in the right direction with automating my process. I noticed that it was posted at the end of January, and towards the end it said that you planed on releasing the next version with stepper controlled motors for better accuracy. Since it’s been almost a year, has this been implemented yet? Also, where is it shipping from? Thanks!

      Hi,
      We have made some protype with the stepper motor but we find the torque is very small even with some big steppers. So we need to find another way to impove the accuracy. Recently we will still use the servos and try to improve the accuracy by improve the precision of the each parts. We have already change the meterial from acrylic to aluminum and the manufacture method from laser cutting to cnc.
      It would be shipped from China.
