    Hi Great job!
    would you consider to share cad drawings and a parts list? I have a little laser cutter and I’d like to try to make it! Any Advice are welcome!

        I’m not associated with this project but I did read the Kickstarter:

        uArm will be completely open-sourced after the Kickstarter campaign completes! We will use the time in between to optimize our design and make it the best it can be. We are a company, yes, but we are also a group of robot maniacs. We want to share our joy with the rest of the world and make more people realize how fun robotics can be! All of the design files, hardware and software will be released in May, 2014. So you can build your own arm using a laser cutter, then add you own controller and servos to it.

    What is the radius from the base the uArm can reach? I am working on a chess playing robot arm project with my son, but I can’t tell if the arm is long enough to reach across our sensor board.

    Also, have you thought about modifying the vacuum grip to a coffe ground/balloon grip? Could it be done?
